MALTA, August 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The EsportsBetting.com Group and GG.BET have launched a new data-led editorial series around The International 2026, bringing together tournament information and editorial analysis to examine how the competitive landscape develops throughout Dota 2’s biggest event.

The International 2026 began on August 13 in Shanghai, China, with 16 of the world’s leading Dota 2 teams competing for the Aegis. Following the opening stage, eight teams have advanced to the main event at the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center from August 20 to 23.

Throughout the tournament, EsportsBetting.com Group will combine its editorial coverage with data and information supplied by GG.BET to provide additional context around team performances, match results and the major storylines emerging from TI15.

The series will focus on how perceptions around teams change as the tournament progresses, including which rosters strengthen their position through strong performances, which teams exceed expectations and how significant results reshape the competitive picture.

Selected match previews will also incorporate team and player performance data, recent results, head-to-head records, draft trends and other relevant competitive information.

Gianfranco Capozzi, Founder & CEO of The EsportsBetting.com Group, said: “The International is one of the biggest events in competitive gaming, bringing together the best teams in Dota 2 and one of esports’ most passionate communities. Working with GG.BET around TI15 is a natural fit, combining their esports expertise and data with our editorial knowledge and long-standing focus on competitive gaming.”

The coverage will also examine unexpected results and breakout performances, using data to provide context around teams that perform differently from pre-tournament expectations.

Rather than treating individual matches in isolation, the editorial series will follow these developments across TI15, allowing readers to see how team performance evolves from the opening matches through to the Grand Final.

A GG.BET spokesperson added: “GG.BET has been actively creating and supporting the creation of esports content for many years, as we believe it is an equally important part of the fan experience. Its development and continuous improvement are at the core of our brand strategy, which is why it is important for us to work with brands that share our views and values on these matters, and EsportsBetting.com Group is exactly that kind of partner.”

The initiative forms part of the EsportsBetting.com Group’s wider approach to tournament coverage, combining reporting, statistical information and analysis across major esports events.

The International 2026 series will continue throughout the main event in Shanghai and conclude with coverage of the Grand Final on August 23.
