Phabian “S-Quire” Winfield Named National Spokesperson for Creative Rights Movement

Filmmaker, author and entrepreneur steps into a national advocacy role championing creators’ rights, ownership and creative independence.

NEW YORK , NY, UNITED STATES, August 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Phabian “S-Quire” Winfield, filmmaker, author, recording artist and entrepreneur, has been appointed National Spokesperson for the Creative Rights Movement, placing the independent creator at the forefront of a growing national effort centered on creative ownership, intellectual property, education and empowerment.

The appointment brings Winfield’s personal journey as an independent creator together with a larger mission: helping artists, filmmakers, musicians, writers and entrepreneurs better understand the value of what they create—and the importance of protecting and owning it.

“This appointment is bigger than me,” said Winfield. “There are creators everywhere with powerful ideas, stories and talent who deserve to understand the value of what they create. I want to use my voice and my journey to help creators recognize that their work has value, their rights matter, and ownership matters.”

Winfield’s appointment comes as his own independent creative platform continues to expand across film, music, publishing and entrepreneurship.

Through ritenowmuzic, Winfield developed The Making of a Moment, a feature documentary currently streaming on Tubi. The film follows his journey through music, filmmaking, identity, perseverance and purpose while documenting the realities of building an independent creative career outside traditional industry structures.

Rather than treating the documentary as a single project, Winfield expanded The Making of a Moment into a broader intellectual-property ecosystem encompassing film, music, publishing, merchandise and live engagement—an experience that gives him a firsthand perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing independent creators.

Now, he will bring that experience to the Creative Rights Movement on a national stage.

As National Spokesperson, Winfield will participate in public appearances, panels and conversations designed to increase awareness surrounding creators’ rights, intellectual property, ownership and the business behind creativity.

His first appearance in the role will be part of the Creative Rights Movement tour in Wilmington, Delaware, on August 22, 2026.

“Independent creators are no longer waiting for permission to build,” Winfield said. “But independence also means understanding the business behind your creativity. We have to create, protect, own and build with intention.”

For Winfield, the appointment represents more than another professional milestone.
